One minor injury reported in school bus accident near Abingdon

According to Virginia State Police, one student received a minor injury after a school bus taking students from Emory & Henry University was involved in a crash. The crash involved a school bus that was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 81 North near Abingdon. Twenty-one students, between the ages of 17 and 21, were on the bus being transported from Emory & Henry. One student did receive a minor injury. The driver of the tractor-trailer was cited for following too close.
