New additions coming for Tannery Knobs MTB trails

A long-hoped-for expansion of the Tannery Knobs mountain bike trails will soon be underway on about 10 acres at the southern part of the park. It’s going on a relatively flat patch of land above East Market Street. Grants, donations and in kind work from the city will fund the project. Officials involved in the project plan to connect the trail system to the existing Tweetsie Trail and hope to have the project completed in 12 to 18 months.
