Detour on Lynn Road in Blountville begins Monday

The City of Kingsport will begin installation of a new waterline on Lynn Road in Blountville on Monday, September 8, as part of a waterline extension project. Drivers are asked to use the signed detour route to limit congestion and delays on Lynn Road. The project is expected to be completed by February 2, 2026. The construction zone and detour route will be marked by signs and directed by flaggers when required.
