Russell County man found guilty of multiple counts of child abuse

The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in Russell county reports that A Russell County man has been found guilty of multiple counts of child abuse. Thursday, 54 year old David Walter Moore, III from Lebanon was found guilty of ten counts of Object Sexual Penetration, one count of Aggravated Sexual Battery, and one count of Indecent Liberties of a Child. During the jury trial, evidence was present that showed Moore III sexually abused a child multiple times over a two-year period. The defendant was remanded to jail following the conviction and sentencing is scheduled for January 8 next year.
