Dolly’s historic mark on business branding is truckin’ on with new travel center plans

Dolly Parton’s business portfolio is quite diverse: a theme park, birthday cake mix, her own line of cosmetics and a company that makes toys for pets.

Dolly has announced another addition, a partnership with the Tennessean Travel Stop company to remodel the group’s original location in Cornersville and build new stores in different parts of the state including underserved counties.

A statement from Dolly said her career was full of stops along the highways and wanted to make the travel centers feel like home and able to recharge drivers.

The report said more locations will be announced next year and they have plans to place the centers along major highway systems.
