28 year old man found dead in Lee County

Lee County Sheriff Gary Parsons reports that a 28-year-old man was found dead in Lee County Tuesday morning. The body was discovered near a roadway in the Bonny Blue area of St. Charles. The body was said to to be visible from the road. The deceased person has been identified as 28 year old Robert Patterson of St. Charles. The Virginia State Police have been requested to assist in the investigation. It is unclear if foul play is suspected as the investigation continues.
