Pedestrian injuring in Rogersville in Sunday morning incident

A pedestrian was injured Sunday morning after being hit by a vehicle in Rogersville, the county’s rescue squad said. The Hawkins County Rescue Squad responded to the area of East Main Street and Clifton Street at approximately 9:42 a.m. Sunday, amid reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian with injuries. Traffic was delayed in the area while crews worked to clear the scene. The incident is under investigation.
