Federal indictment says ICE officers’ vehicle intentionally rammed on East Tennessee construction site
A federal indictment says two ICE agents had their vehicle rammed by an East Tennessee driver as the officers attempted to enter a construction site after surveilling the property as part of a search for illegal aliens.
Prosecutors said Alexander Bonilla-Servin, 18, of Smyrna faces several charges including some based on the crash, according to court information. Information presented in federal court in Knoxville says 33-year-old Tyler Shane Wells of Morristown also conspired to protect illegal aliens at the Hardin Valley construction project. The two men made plans to run counter-surveillance on the ICE officers and also use the pickup as a blockade to the site entrance.
Wells pleaded not guilty and has a trial date of March 31st.
