Propane tanker crash in Glade Spring results in fatal injuries for driver

A single-vehicle crash in Washington County, Virginia resulted in fatal injuries for the driver of a propane tanker.

A preliminary State Police report said the truck driven by Albert J. Stanton, 44, of Chilhowie was traveling in the 8000 block of Crescent Road in Glade Spring when his vehicle went off the right side of the highway, struck a power pole then overturned.

Stanton later died of those wounds at an area hospital. The wreck remains under investigation.
