Bristol driver accused of pointing gun at victim helping a stranded motorist in snowy Kingsport
The keen eye of some social media watchers helped Sullivan County investigators identify a suspect in a January case where a driver pointed a gun at a person outside of his vehicle.
A county report said Kenneth Dwaine Puckett, 61, of Bristol, Tennessee was taken into custody Thursday and charged with aggravated assault. Puckett is accused of threatening a person who was in the roadway helping a stranded motorist in Kingsport during January’s snowstorm.
The photo captured by the victim and provided to police showed Puckett with the gun and an open container inside his vehicle at the time of the incident.
