President/CEO of TVA announces retirement

According to media reports, Don Moul, president and CEO of the Tennessee Valley Authority, plans to retire. The announcement follows Donald Trump’s push for a pay cap of $500,000 for TVA employees. The Knoxville News Sentinel reports Moul was paid $6 million last year, which is the highest salary of any federal employee, but considerably less than leaders of similar-sized utilities.
