One hospitalized after Carter County crash

A single-vehicle crash Monday just before 6 p.m. sends a man to the hospital. A 2009 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Highway 67 when the driver lost control, went airborne, and then rolled. The vehicle left the roadway before striking a culvert before coming to a rest. Carter County EMS and the Elizabethton Fire Department pulled 21 year old, Tyler McMurrary from the wreck, and transported him to a local hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
