Victim identified in fatal Hawkins County fire

A house fire in Hawkins County left at least one dead Wednesday morning. The Hawkins County Sheriffs Office said Wednesday afternoon, that the call came in at 5:31 a.m. and was at 245 Clover Circle in Mooresburg. The home was fully engulfed in flames when deputies arrived. The Lakeview Fire Department responded to the fire and located the body of 75 year old, Sandra Carpenter, inside the home. The TBI Fire/Arson Division is assisting the Hawkins County Sheriffs Office to determine the cause of the fire. No other information has been made available.
