Tusculum University head baseball Coach moving on, national search to be conducted for new coach
Tusculum University’s head baseball coach, Brandon Steele has resigned. Steele will step down May 31 to pursue opportunities outside coaching. Associate head coach Todd Ireland will serve as interim head coach while the university conducts a national search. Steele spent 23 seasons with the program, including the past eight as head coach. He compiled a record of 176 wins and 187 loses, going 16-33 this season with Tusculum finishing 10th in the South Atlantic Conference. Steele coached four All-Americans, three Academic All-Americans, seven All-Region selections and 21 All-Conference honorees, including 2019 South Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Year Charles Hall.
