Bristol, VA woman arrested after explosive device discovered during traffic stop

Abingdon Police say During a traffic stop in the 200 block of Bradley Street Monday, officers were alerted to a possible “small incendiary device” inside the vehicle prompting the evacuation of nearby business’. Police later gave the all clear and a woman was taken into custody. Police identified the suspect as 40 year old Jamie Denise Campbell of Bristol, Virginia. She is facing multiple charges including Manufacture, transport, distribution, possession, or use of a fire bomb or explosive materials or devices and providing false identity to a law enforcement officer
