UPDATE: Tear gas brings Gray suspect out of home to end four-hour standoff
It took SWAT team members from Washington County Tennessee deploying tear gas into a home in Gray to bring an end to a Tuesday morning standoff.
The chemicals drew out Robert Dillow, 55, who surrendered in the lawn of the home on Dutch Street just after 10 am. Dillow is charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest and more warrants are expected.
Dillow’s threats to shoot a victim inside the home brought officers to the neighborhood before 6 a.m. The victim had escaped the home by the time deputies arrived while Dillow started his four-hour standoff.
