Greeneville Police: Fatality reported in Thursday morning accident

The Greeneville Police Department reports that one person died after a crash early Thursday. Officers responded to the crash at 5:48 a.m. on W Andrew Johnson Highway at Mt. Pleasant Road. The crash involved two vehicles. The driver of one of the vehicles, 52 year old Paul D. Oaks, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is still being investigated.
