Kingsport Beverage Board approves alcohol beverage license for new IMAX theater

The Kingsport Beverage Board has approved an alcoholic beverage license for the IMAX theater scheduled to open in July. The board approved the license Tuesday.
The only IMAX theater in the region is set to open July 17 and that’s the same day that Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film, “The Odyssey,” is set to premiere.
