Eight crashes claim 10 lives during Virginia’s Labor Day holiday
Eight crashes killed 10 people in Virginia over the Labor Day holiday weekend, according to statistics reported by the State Police.
Three of those incidents involved pedestrians, and none of the reported crashes occurred in Southwest Virginia.
The report said troopers responded to more than 800 crashes over the 4-day period along with issuing more than 2,800 drivers for speeding and over 1,500 for reckless driving.
