Downtown Bristol restaurant announces closure after 30 years

A local Chinese restaurant that has been a staple of downtown dining in Bristol for 30 years just announced Sunday that it would be closing its doors later this month. Shanghai Chinese Restaurant said in a social media post that, “we’re retiring and saying goodbye,” with their last day scheduled for Sunday, October 18. In the post, the restaurant thanked the Bristol community for its support over the decades.
