Road closures will occur on Carroll Creek Road this Saturday and Sunday east of the Kinch Landing boat ramp entrance at Winged Deer Park for a bike race. On Saturday, closures are expected to occur intermittently from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. near the Kinch Landing boat ramp. On Sunday, Carroll Creek Road will close between Johnson City Fire Station 9 and Kinch Landing from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Officials suggest Timberlake Road as a detour for area residents, those who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, and emergency vehicles will be able to pass.
