Gubernatorial candidate Jerri Green visits Bristol TN

With early voting now underway across Tennessee, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jerri Green brought her campaign trail to Bristol on Sunday. Speaking directly with local voters at a campaign event, Green outlined her core platform, emphasizing key priorities like eliminating the state’s sales tax on groceries and increasing support to keep rural hospitals open. The Memphis City Councilwoman told attendees to expect a highly competitive race as she aims to check the state’s Republican supermajority. Green is running against Republican nominee Senator Marsha Blackburn and Independent candidate David Hatley to become Tennessee’s next governor in the general election on November 3rd.
