The parent company of a Bristol, Tennessee nursing facility has been cited following a review of audit figures that showed the organization inflated their expenses to get rich reimbursements.
AltaCare Corporation of Atlanta used non-compatible costs like legal fees, donations and penalties to earn $3.7 million in Medicaid funds. The report also said that The Cambridge House in Bristol was overpaid $324,000 over a three-year period beginning in 2015.
