Kingsport Woman, And Family Dog Perish In Friday Morning Trailer Fire
A 67 year old Kingsport woman and her family dog have died as a result of a trailer fire Friday morning. The Kingsport Fire Department says they received the call around eight thirty Friday morning of a structure fire at the 300 block of Snapps Ferry Road. Upon arrival, fire units found a trailer with an extinguished fire and the body of the 67 year old, so far unidentified female. The woman and her dog were apparently overcome by the smoke from the blaze. The Fire Marshall’s office says the fire started from the use of smoking materials in the home. No further information is available at this time.
