Greeneville Police: Two people flown to hospital following early morning crash

Two people are hospitalized with suspected serious injuries following a crash early Thursday morning in Greeneville.
A report from the Greeneville Police Department says a 1998 Nissan Frontier was traveling around the 1500 block of Snapps Ferry Rd. around 3:30 a.m when the truck reportedly left the roadway at a high rate of speed and sideswiped a tree on the passenger side before crashing head on into another tree.
Driver Kevin Lamons and passenger Brittany Taylor were both airlifted to the Johnson City Medical Center. The crash remains under investigation.
