TDOT: Work to lift and place large signage at Boones Creek exit starting Sunday

Road crews will be placing large overhead signage at the I-26 Exit 17 Boones Creek exit beginning Sunday night, which will cause lane closures and temporary closures to the interstate ramps.

TDOT says the work to lift and connect signage, will result in lane closures between 10 p.m and 5 a.m on Boones Creek Rd., in addition to intermittent closures of the interstate on and off ramps at Exit 17 between midnight and 5 a.m.

Detour signage will be in place to direct traffic around the work, which is expected to be complete by Wednesday, March 17.
