Former Westside Inn demo to begin next week

Demolition of the former Westside Inn is scheduled to begin next week. The demolition permit was approved Monday by the City of Kingsport. Demolition is scheduled to begin on June 19 and be complete by August 19. Asbestos fibers were found on the property and it’s removal is scheduled for June 17–18. The demolition will make way for a new Friendship dealership that will be built on the property.
