Broadband company offering $5,000 reward for info on Carter County vandalism

A North Carolina broadband company installing fiber optic cable and other accessories in Carter County said their property was damaged deliberately by someone cutting it with an ax and splitting the wires with a shotgun blast.

The SkyLine SkyBest group is offering a $5,000 reward for information on the vandals that cut wires at a location in Tiger Creek in May and in Little Milligan last month.

The SkyLine statement said the criminal acts have caused delays in the project and resulted in the company spending additional dollars.
