Kingsport Police investigating after discovery of human remains

Kingsport police are investigating after human remains were discovered off East Stone Drive. Officers and detectives responded around 5 p.m. to the 3700 block of East Stone Drive, where the remains were found in a wooded area, according to the police department. The remains are believed to be that of an adult male. Forensic examiners from ETSU are assisting the department in the investigation.
