WCSO, TN plans drug take back day and Child safety seat inspections

Washington County TN Sheriff’s Deputies will be stationed in the parking lot of Boones Creek Christian Church on Boones Creek Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April. 26 for National Drug Take Back Day and also to check child safety seats, all in one location. Signs will point the way to the drug drop off location and to the car safety seat inspection areas. The Sheriff’s office says that there’s no need to remove the drugs from the original containers. Deputies will destroy and dispose of the container and the medication, so those participating do not need to worry about personal information on bottles.
