Crash under investigation after occupants flee in JC

Johnson City Police are investigating after finding a car flipped onto its side on West State of Franklin Road. The crash happened around 6:50 p.m. Monday in front of the Downtown Square parking lot. According to the Police Department, a vehicle hit a light pole in the median and flipped. Police said the driver and a passenger ran from the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
