Minor damage reported in fire at Goodwill in Kingsport

Firefighters respond to a structure fire in Kingsport. The call came in around 4:45 p.m. Monday afternoon. The Goodwill on East Stone Drive had heavy fire showing from the right side of the building, extending into the main part of the building. Communications director for Goodwill Industries of Tenneva, Amanda Adams, confirmed that no one was hurt in the fire and that the building had been evacuated. It appears the fire was contained to the exterior of the main part of the building. Operations at the location will resume on Tuesday. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
