The Appalachian League Baseball season opens Thursday

The 2025 Appalachian League season is scheduled to get underway Thursday. Play begins with Bluefield at Burlington, Danville will visit Greeneville, Tri-State at Elizabethton, Kingsport heads to Pulaski and Bristol will face Johnson City at TVA Credit Union Ballpark in Johnson City. Bristol will be playing all of their home games in Johnson City this year, as the State Liners await an new home at Tod Houston Field in Bristol, with major renovations expected to be complete by next season.
