Kingsport Library moves into temporary location

The Kingsport Library is ready to open at its new temporary location in the Fort Henry Mall. The library hopes to hold a soft opening Tuesday morning and a ribbon cutting Friday at 2 p.m. The mall is expected to serve as the library’s temporary home for 14–18 months until renovations are completed at the library downtown. The library will continue to offer after-school, teen, family, and adult programs, and will be open 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.
