Fireworks incident at Boone Lake Marina sends 2 to hospital

Two people were transported to the hospital after fireworks went off on a barge. The incident happened at Boone Lake Marina in Piney Flats, the evening of July 4th. Both people were reported to have minor injuries. Authorities said the fire was put out, but the barge was completely destroyed. The TWRA says it took preliminary information and since the incident occurred on a commercial vessel, the U.S. Coast Guard will take over the investigation.
