1st annual Fun Fest hot dog eating contest crowns winner

Hundreds of people gathered for Fun Fest Saturday. Families enjoyed activities, including a special kids’ zone, Touch-A-Truck, and Fun Fest’s 1st Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest, drawing the largest crowd. Contestants had to eat four hot dogs as quickly as possible. Cody Baker was crowned champion with a time of 50 seconds after eating 2 dogs at a time. Part of Baker’s prize is two free tickets to a concert of his choice.
