Project manager for Hampton High reconstruction approved

Carter County commissioners has approved Burleson Construction as the project manager for the restoration of Hampton High School. The high school next to the Doe River, received heavy damage during last September’s Hurricane Helene. A majority of the restoration will come from state funds. The school board voted in April to repair the school, as constructing a new school would have required additional local funding.
