$2.6 million approved for Wise County PSA

The Wise County Public Service Authority received more than 2.6 million dollars to go toward delivering reliable water to residents. The United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development division approved a $1.9M grant and a $791,000 loan, for the completion of the final phase of its water system improvements. The funds are available through the USDA’s Water and Waste Disposal Loan & Grant program. Wise County PSA’s water system improvement project will address pressure fluctuations and reduced water storage and flow capacities.
