Minor earthquake reported in East Tennessee early Sunday

The U.S. Geological Survey says a minor 2.3 magnitude earthquake was reported in parts of Sevier County, Tennessee early Sunday morning. The earthquake occurred near the Kodak area near the Jefferson, Knox, and Sevier County lines at 12:16 a.m. Sunday morning at a depth of nearly a mile and a half below the surface. No damage or injuries were reported.
