Washington County, VA 911 system back online after morning outage

A 911 system outage impacted Washington County, Virginia on Thursday morning. County administrator Jason Berry said a power outage at the Public Safety Building resulted in an isolated radio outage to the 911 system just after 7 a.m, and provided an update around 10:30 that said that county 911 operations were back online. Berry said a power surge caused equipment failure that required repairs and reboot of the system.
