College Football season gets started with wins for UT, ETSU and E & H

The college football season got underway this weekend with a good start for East TN teams. The ETSU Bucs opened their season at home against Murray State with a definitive 45 – 17 win. The UT Vols perfect record against Syracuse still stands with a comfortable 45 – 26 win at Neyland Stadium, which itself saw many changes and upgrades since last season. In SWVA, The VA Tech Hokies didn’t fair as well, fall to South Carolina 24 – 11. The Emory & Henry Wasps did earn a win in their season opener on the road against Glenville State with a final score of 45-17.
