WCSO, TN arrest motorcyclist after short pursuit and crash

A Middle Tennessee man is facing charges after authorities report he led deputies on a pursuit in Johnson City. Washington County Deputies saw a red sport motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed, around 6 p.m. Sunday, near West State of Franklin and University Parkway. The motorcycle nearly hit another vehicle and ran a red light before deputies canceled the pursuit due to traffic. The motorcycle crashed at the roundabout on Jack Vest Drive where deputies stopped to check on the driver. 23 year old John Michael Clark of Brentwood, Tennessee was cleared by EMS and then taken to the Washington County Detention Center. Clark is charged with reckless endangerment, evading arrest, reckless driving, running a red light, and speeding.
