Washington County Fair set to begin Monday

The Washington County Fair is scheduled to begin it’s 75th season next week. The Diamond Jubilee for the fair begins Monday at the Fairgrounds in Abingdon with a host of events. The grand opening starts at 4, then fair goers can enjoy many events including free axe throwing, an antique tractor pull, the rides on the midway, and live entertainment on stage with country star Chase McDaniel set to perform.
