Increase in early voting in VA compared to 2021

Early voting for the November 4 Virginia gubernatorial election is well underway, and election officials have given an update on turnout so far. The Virginia Public Access Project shows that over 35,000 people cast their ballots over the weekend. That’s a 117% increase compared to 2021. The last day Virginians can register to vote in the November 4 Virginia gubernatorial election is October 24, which is also the final day to request a mail-in ballot. You can vote early at your local registrar’s office until November 1.
