Flags lowered in Mount Carmel to honor officer

Mount Carmel Mayor John Gibson issued a proclamation on Tuesday that all flags in the town would be flown at half-staff through October 18 to honor Officer Mark Lindsey who passed away unexpectedly. A release from the town encourages local businesses and residents to lower their flags or find a personal and meaningful way to pay tribute to Lindsey’s legacy.
