Ballad Health makes “kettle match” donation to Salvation Army
The Salvation Army just received a kettle match donation from Ballad Health to benefit operations in Bristol, Johnson City and Kingsport. The kettle match donation was for $30,000, with $10,000 split between each location. Salvation Army officials say that the Salvation Army uses the funds to “fill the gaps” for those in need, and notes that the organization is more than “just a bed.” The Red Kettle Campaign continues with bell ringers through Christmas Eve or visit the Salvation Army’s website to donate.
