Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger to seek fourth term

Northeast Tennessee Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger has picked up the necessary paperwork on Tuesday to run for another term. The Kingsport Republican is seeking a fourth term representing the 10-county district that comprises Tennessee’s 1st District. In the 2024 general election, Harshbarger won 78% of the vote to defeat 3 opposing candidates. She has not faced opposition in the Republican primary since her initial bid for office in 2020.
