Kingsport BOE approves computer purchases for 6th and 9th graders

At a Tuesday meeting, The Kingsport Board of Education members voted unanimously to purchase student Chromebook devices for KCS 6th and 9th graders. Funding will come from the School General Purpose Funds. 1,300 student Dell Chromebooks and Google Chrome Licenses from Dell Marketing L.P. will be bought, with the Chromebook 11 costing $370.00 each and the Google Chrome licenses costing $32.07 each.
