Bristol’s Eddie Bauer likely headed for closure with brand’s bankruptcy filing

A store in Bristol’s Pinnacle retail area is likely headed for closure with the news of Eddie Bauer’s third and final filing for bankruptcy and the closing of its more than 200 stores across the US.

Published reports said the outlets and mall locations are going away but Eddie Bauer will be sold in department stores and online by the next owner of the name plate.

The clothing and outdoor brand opened its Pinnacle location in 2017 and was one of the original stores for the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville.
