Fire destroys home in Glade Spring, injuries reported

Crews responded to a house fire in the 300 block of Shenandoah Drive Sunday morning. The Glade Spring Fire Department responded to the fire at around 9:45 Sunday morning. Several other crews also responded. According to Glade Spring Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Ricky Stumbo, several people were treated for minor injuries and one adult was transported by Air Medical Transport for minor to moderate burns and smoke inhalation. T he department believes the home is a total loss.
